A countdown site for some game has just popped up and if any of the clues are to go by, we will be getting news onModern Warfare 3 in about four days. Which if you don’t know, means GDC will be an event you want to pay attention to.
Findmakarov.com is the site in question. Another site got sent a package from Activision with dog tags that led to the site, on the dog tags was “End the war” with information on Shepard. One of the “villains” from Modern Warfare 2.
Even before this countdown site was revealed there were rumors stirring about the next game in the Modern Warfare franchise. One rumor was the third game would follow Ghost from the two previous games, but would be a prequel to Call of Duty 4. The other one is that Infinity Ward, with the help of Sledgehammer and Raven Software are all working on the title.
Although, we all could be wrong, but if you add up the clues, it is pretty clear something Call of Duty is planned for GDC next week.
